Haiku Friday – Pitch & Time

Hi and welcome to Haiku Friday! Ron created ‘RonovanWrites Weekly Haiku Poetry Prompt Challenge‘ to have a place for people to share and gain a little exposure to other readers they might not have otherwise AND of course to enjoy Haiku. We all have different people who visit our blogs. Visit the link and take part in this fun challenge. You don’t know what a Haiku Poem is or how to write one, no problem, read this.

This week’s prompt words are Pitch and Time. I had a hard time with these words. Since I’m currently working on my Fantasy Angels Series, I drew inspiration from my story and came up with this.

Do you believe in angels? If not, why do you think so many people claim to have heard and/or seen them?

Nice one, Vashti. No, I don’t believe in angels, but the one in your pic seems to be having a good time 🙂

Oh yes, I believe in angels and demons. I believe in heaven and hell. I believe in sin and forgiveness. I believe in the spirit realm.
Nice Haiku Vashti. Have a great weekend.

I’ve read and heard people talking about angels a fair bit, as I’m also working (well, in my case in the last stages) on a series with angels on it. They appear in all cultures, for sure…

When I was working on the 1st installment of my Fantasy Angels Series I also did a lot of research. I found that many people of different races and religions around the world believe in angels. There are also many accounts of people, past and present, who claim to have seen and/or heard them. I don’t know if I believe what’s on the YouTube video, but logic dictates that there’s something. I also think that you can’t believe in God without also believing in the devil and in angels.

It would be nice to think that angels do exist and walk beside us guiding us through life … Good write Vashti

I absolutely do believe in angels Vashti. Love my angel cards for guidance. And love this post. The audio was a great addition. I have heard of many similar angel ‘appearances’ in song and in sight. Believing is seeing! 🙂

There have been too many accounts of angel sightings throughout history to deny their existence. I wish I could see one, a good one though, there are both kinds. Thank you. 🙂

That would be amazing. I think if we believe we will, it’s likely to happen. I love positive affirmations, powerful stuff!

Beautiful words, Vashti! Absolutely gorgeous image of a female angel. Along these lines, I believe there is more happening in the spirit world than we can see. If we could only remove the veil between us and them, we’d see and hear things more awesome than we could possibly imagine.

    Vashti,

The jury is still out for me on the belief of angels. I do believe in ghosts and have seen some after relatives or friends have passed, but then maybe they don’t all have wings as depicted in pictures. I need to give this more thought.

My grandmother believed in angels and told us as kids that one flew in her bedroom window and told her that her mother would be passing away in two weeks and she did. I’m sure there’s more than we can see or fathom about the sprit world, but if I can play devil’s advocate here, there may be lots of beliefs in angels and sightings of them because as children many people are taught they exist. Just something to think about. I guess I do way too much wondering about both sides of the story.

As usual, beautiful picture in your post.

    Have a great weekend!

I believe in angels. I had an experience with one that stayed with me the day that my son passed away.

Hi Patty! I’m sorry for your loss. Losing a son has got to be one of the most painful experiences that any person can go through. Wow! I would love to read about your experience with the angel if you’d like sharing it some day. 🙂 xx
