Happy Haiku Friday! This week’s prompt words are Guide and Map. Hmmm, not exactly poetic words. Well, this is what I came up with this week. I hope you like my haiku.

    Hi Vashti, love this haiku. Great description of mind maps!

    I think you mis-read the prompt words – they were Guide and Mad. Still great though 🙂

      Ha, ha! I definitely did misread the prompt words this week but I spent a great deal of time on this haiku so I ran with it. I’m glad you liked it. 🙂

        Hi Suzanne! I believe you’re right. 😉 I think I made it more difficult for myself with Guide and Map as prompts but in the end it worked out. 😀 xx

        I like to use prompts as a way of prompting ideas. Sometimes the person running the challenge will tell me I misinterpreted their prompt. I apologise and either try and conform to their rules or just simply stop doing their challenges. 🙂

        I agree. I see the prompt words like you do. Ron’s usually pretty layed-back about our interpretation of the prompt words which is good and he also tells us that we don’t have to use his prompts. I like this challenge because it’s a good way for me to exercise my creative muscles. 😀 xx

    Great Haiku, even if mad became map. Love your Mind Map design. Would love to know how to do it. Does one need a specific program to work one something so fantastically creative. I would love to learn. Jk 🙂

      Oops! Yes, I messed up the prompt words this week. Mind mapping is not as difficult as it looks. I’m sure there’s a mind map app, since there’s an app for everything but I do my mind maps by hand. I love to draw and I find freehand mind mapping more fun. 😀

        I am more than just a little impressed at the quality of your art work on the mind maps. Will have to see if there is an app. But I do like to do posters – just have to do in free form. Will check these out & try my hand at it. Your mind maps are beautifully structured and inspiring. 😀

    Mind maps are a great chance to make your thoughts a visual delight. Back to being a kid with plenty of coloured pens and different scripts. Good for your creativity. Lovely haiku and a happy chance you misread the prompts. 🙂
