7 Oct

Happy Wednesday everyone! Welcome to my blog. Colleen Chesebro is a writer, poet, and book reviewer. She hosts an inspiring event every Wednesday on her blog, Silver Threading, called Writer’s Quote Wednesday. Anyone can participate by choosing a quote by a favorite writer and posting it on your blog. Check out her weekly wrap-up and be inspired by all the quotes.

Great question & awesome artwork. We all have ‘fears,’ don’t we? Fear of failure, fear of success.

Hello. You’re absolutely right . . . fear of being criticized, fear of not being good enough, fear of letting people down. It goes on and on. It’s always scary to take risks and put yourself out there, but that’s what makes life exciting. At least for me. 🙂

So right, Vashti! So afraid I was to even press “Send” on my post today. Afraid to even write a book again. Afraid of failing. Afraid of everything. Still am because there’s so much more to do…With God and a prayer….

I agree. I’m always a little afraid to press that publish button too. We have to feel the fear and do it anyway. There’s no courage without fear. 🙂 xx

Haha. Yes, that’s true. I never thought of it that way. HOw can one be a hero, without overcoming something scary?
Thanks Vashti. Have a great rest of the week.

My most recent enemy has been a computer virus (I hope I’ve beaten it up with some help), but seriously, Staci is right, we all have fears. And Margaret Atwood puts it perfectly. Be well!

I’m glad this quote made everyone think––including me. If you really think about it, we have to face something scary almost everyday. We should celebrate the little heroic victories. 😉

Life can be pretty scary at times, the idea is to confront what life throws at you and become the heroes if our own stories … Sometimes easier said than done 😏

That’s true, but think of the alternative. We can’t always allow the monsters to win. We should face each situation with courage. ❤

I love this quote because it always come down to good vs. evil, the fundamental of all fairy tales. Excellent! ❤

Thank you Colleen, you’re right. Sometimes the scary things we need to face are not so obvious until we’ve overcome them.
