Haiku Friday – Crystal & Hope

15 Jan

Happy Friday everyone! And a warm welcome to my blog.

I have written very little about my work-in-progress which is the 2nd installment of my Fantasy Angels Series. It is tentatively called Dracúl. This book picks up where The Fall of Lilith ends. That is why I want to finish both books before publishing the first. Today’s prompt words provided by Ronovan Writes are Crystal and Hope. I decided to give you a light description of two of the characters in my novel Dracúl in today’s haiku. I hope you enjoy.

Kind devil’s desire

Transpicuous plans hindered

Love born of evil

Silver angel hair

Vivid eyes of many hues

Reverie of  light

Wow! That is wonderful to hear from you. I can’t wait to finish Dracul, so that I can publish The Fall of Lilith. I would love for my book to be out there already. 😀 xx

I enjoy the glimpses into your book that you have been using to inspire your haiku the last couple of weeks. It’s so personal and I can appreciate the effort that goes into making sure your words express your heart’s message. In many ways it’s like a proud mama introducing her baby. You have much to be proud of Vashti!

Thank you so much. I’m happy you enjoyed the haiku. I’m so touched by your words. You’re very kind and you’re right, it does feel like I’m introducing my baby and it is a little scary. Thanks again!😙💕

Being ejected from your home, what, you had ideas. Angels can fall hard and minds be twisted by rejection. Exceptional Haiku. I include Aurora, the one filled with delight. She would seem to be the one who carries the Hope with her to fill up all within her realm. She lifts my spirits. Fantastic language used in the creation of your Haiku. 😀 xox

It’s a great feeling. First is to see how they effect you but you know that. I like to live with my characters. Like they hang around in my head and speak on paper surprising you sometimes with what comes out. It may not be something you even thought of yet. Isn’t it great.

Oh but it’s true. I like to imagine them in my head talking to each other. No so much specifically with me. I listen. I hear things and write them down where ever I happen to be. And yes I wake myself up if what I feel are great words coming through and dont want to lose them. ‘Living with your characters.’ Such fun! Such fun!
