Very creative Vashti, what a struggle you conjure up in the readers imagination

The struggle is real. I try to write at least 1000 words each morning. The segment in the story I was working on today was emotionally taxing for me. I’m still a bit shaken. Some people believe that fiction is easier to write than non-fiction because it’s ‘make-believe’, but this is not so, because while the story is being written it is completely true in your mind. Thank you Denis! π xx

It does reflect well the work, for sure. You’re right about fiction. There are times, depending on how I feel that I wouldn’t dare to write in certain genres, because you get emotionally involved.

You do get emotionally involved. Certain scenes need to turn your guts otherwise they’re not written with enough passion. I’m glad you can relate. π xx

I really like the haiku but my main comment is on the picture. I really love it. Where did it come from? Did you make it?

This illustration is my concept brought to life by illustrator George Miltiadis. It’s a portrait of me with some of the characters from my Fantasy Angels Series. You can see more of his work on my ‘Gallery’ page. I should have labeled this image. I’ll do it as soon as I get a chance. I love this illustration too and am very grateful for George’s great work.

This is perfect Vashti. Right from the words coming out of the inner most parts to them being poured out over ‘virgin’ papers.
Just wonderful, my friend.
Have a wonderful weekend.

Thanks Vashti. No problems staying warm here in Brazil. Even though our summer is somewhat rainy at the moment.

I’m in south Florida but the last few days have been very cold, at least for us (40s and 50ΛF). :O I’m glad you’re warm. Sending some sunshine your way. π

Thank you! The illustration is by artist George Miltiadis. I had a dream that I was writing my Fantasy Angels Series in the middle of a forest and the characters in my book came to life. I thought it was a great concept for an illustration. George did a great job bringing my concept to life.π xx

The illustration was done for me by an artist named George Miltiadis. That’s me writing in the woods with characters from The Fall of Lilith and Dracul. I’m glad you liked it! Thank you! π xx

Hello Olga! Thank you. I love this illustration. I had a poster made and take it with me on Book Signings/Readings. I think the image just screams, ‘Fantasy writer!’ Ha, ha! π

Very smart to have made a poster. Must be a magical attraction at your signings/readings. You’re totally right. It does scream ‘fantasy writer.’ Good-luck in your creative journey.
