 Summer and Fun are this week’s prompt words chosen by Ronovan Hester of Ronovan Writes. These words make me smile. I love summer. Even if you’re not off for the summer the season still seem fun-filled and laid-back. Most people act differently––easygoing, loose, even at work. Many people take vacations during the summer because their kids are out of school, so they work in happier moods knowing they have time off to look forward to.

Warm breezes tickle

Ardent sunbeams caress me 

sweet summertime fun

Bright sun shouts ‘hello’

Gentle winds whisper ‘good day’

It’s time to be merry

    Summer gives her peace
    Her only means of fun times
    Other times, boredom
