Spring and Fresh are this week’s prompt words chosen by Ronovan Hester of Ronovan Writes.

Ron hosts a challenge that anyone could participate in called Ronovan Writes Weekly Haiku Poetry Prompt Challenge every Monday, and you have until Sunday to create a post featuring your haiku poem. He is an author and poet and also does author interviews and much more on his blog. Be sure to check it out. Read Ron’s Haiku Prompt Challenge Guidelines for more information.

Touch the wings of butterflies

Sway their showy dance

    I always love butterflies…
Just playing a little – how about something like:

daffodil breezes (or daffodil zephyr, perhaps)
    lifting the butterfly wings
    sway a showy dance

    Hi Vashti
This is a lovely fresh feeling Haiku, the trees are awakening with blossoms & the butterflies add a nice floaty free touch too x x x

You should, absolutely continue with your crafting. You do amazing work with your cards. Poetry and greeting cards go hand in hand though––just saying. 😉 xx

Butterflies always speak to me of warm sunny days, blue skies, freedom, gentle fluttering of grace and beauty in the everyday. Thank you, Vashti, for bringing a smile to this weary woman’s face with your haiku and graphics! Although I’ve not joined in with the haiku challenge for some time, I appreciate seeing what wonderful word-weaving my friends are achieving. Blessings and love. xo ❤

Aw, I don’t like that you’re weary. Please get some rest and have some fun. Women in general tend to take too much on and we sometimes forget to take care of ourselves. Thank you for taking the time to read my post and leaving a lovely comment. Take care of yourself.❤️xx
