Haiku Friday – Miracle & Save

26 May

Miracle and Save are this week’s prompt words chosen by Ronovan Hester of Ronovan Writes.

Ron hosts a challenge that anyone could participate in called Ronovan Writes Weekly Haiku Poetry Prompt Challenge every Monday, and you have until Sunday to create a post featuring your haiku poem. He is an author and poet and also does author interviews and much more on his blog. Be sure to check it out. Read Ron’s Haiku Prompt Challenge Guidelines for more information.

“Typically creative people are usually not clock-slaves or list-makers, so the idea of enforcing goals and deadlines can be somewhat daunting.”

~Kristin Armstrong

Need a miracle

Deadlines marching ever nigh

Save me from myself

The Writer Next Door-Vashti Q-Haiku_Friday-Poetry-haiku-writing-books

**I’m currently in the formatting stage of my upcoming book, The Fall of Lilith. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that this is one of the most difficult and overwhelming parts of the process. At least if it’s your first time doing it. Phew! However, everything continues to move along toward the deadline that I set for myself (Summer).

Happy Friday and great weekend all!

Thank you Traci! I’m getting the hang of it. The entire process is a little overwhelming if you’ve never done it before, so many things to learn and do, but it’s okay. I’m getting there. ❤

It’s okay to have a little fear, as long as you don’t let that fear get in the way. You can do this. 😀 xx

I must be an exception to the rule as I’m a writer who makes to-do lists! I’m a combination? Haha 😉 I wish you all the best with formatting and finalizing your book!!

Hi Christy! Ha, ha! I’m guilty of a to-do list or three. 😉 I also outline my novels although they eventually take on a life of their own and the outline goes out the window. Thank you so much for the awesome wishes. ❤

Yay Vashti! Congrats on nearing the finish line. I feel for you girl, you couldn’t pay me to even attempt formatting. By the time I’m done with revisions galore, edits and proofreads the last thing I want to do is format, lol. Happy to farm that out. Good luck and beautiful Haiku my friend. ❤
