    Its a blend of realistic fiction and historical fiction with a fair smattering of family history. Basically its the story of a WW2 Japanese officers sword covering a time period from earlier C20 to current times. I paused my draft to tour New Zealand with my wife across November 2016 and have not pushed the pause button yet but its close. I’m at about 60,000 words and have been doing some serious research for historical accuracy and need to do more. I have 2 friends, one a teenage fiction author and the other who has a history of writing and teaching who are offering to critically read the draft so I have incentive. It could be a while before I take up your kind offer. Meanwhile enjoy writing Vashti.
