Sing and Peace are this week’s prompt words chosen by Ronovan Hester of Ronovan Writes.

Ron hosts a challenge that anyone could participate in called Ronovan Writes Weekly Haiku Poetry Prompt Challenge every Monday, and you have until Sunday to create a post featuring your haiku poem. He is an author and poet and also does author interviews and much more on his blog. Be sure to check it out. Read Ron’s Haiku Prompt Challenge Guidelines for more information.

If You Wish To Sing You’ll Find A Song

Lay aside sadness

Sing! Frighten away your ills!

Bring forth peace with song

Sing To Live

Joy and laughter come

hastily on angels’ wings,

when you sing of peace

“As long as we live, there is never enough singing.”

~Martin Luther

Happy Friday, everyone!

Ah, ha, ha, ha! That’s hilarious. Well, you should try to at least sing in the shower. If not a good humming should do it. 😉 xx

I would hate to have pigs wander into my shower. Thanks, Vashti

Singing comes naturally to a happy heart and happy hearts are created by positive vibes…peace tiptoes in! Thank you Vashti for making my heart sing this morning 🙂

Balroop, you make my heart sing with your words. You have such a way with them. I agree with you. Singing has always been part of my life and my family’s life. And even when you’re not so happy or in a good mood, singing can lift you up. ❤

🙂 I like your poem, nice flow of writing that also had a little suprise. The quote, however, is from Martin Luther the founder of Lutherism, not Martin Luther King Jr. 🙂

Hi Jonas! I’m glad you liked the poem. Thank you for making the “Martin Luther” clarification. I looked into it and you’re right, so I updated the post. 😀
