Gadreel’s Lamentation

Nefarious deeds

Got me exiled from heaven

Now on earth I roam

Hiraeth beckons my soul

But I can’t ever go home

I’d gladly give up

the freedom earth allows me

for one day back home

Where flowers sing lullabies

and leaves dance all aquiver

Absolutely gorgeous Vashti, the photos are beautiful but your words evoke the sadness in Gadreel’s heart. I felt the most sorry for her because she’s not evil like some of those other angels, she just got caught up in the wrong crowd, lol. 🙂 ❤

Your understanding of this character is right on, Debby. Poor Gadreel is a victim of peer pressure and falling for the bad guy. 😉 Ha, ha. ❤ xx

I love Gadreel, even though she was often very weak. I hope to read more of her story in future books. 🙂

Hi Yvette! Yay! I’m so happy you could related to Gadreel. She’s one of my favorites also. She’s in the 2nd book, although she is not the protagonist. However, she is the protagonist in the 3rd book. 😀 Thank you!
