It’s the middle of the month challenge ~ time for a photo prompt!

Colleen’s 2019 Weekly Tanka Tuesday Poetry Challenge No. 145 (Photo Prompt)

Apocalypse

Darkness
The sun blushes
We’ve finally done it
The star has given up on us
Humans

Only
the tallest trees
survive Mother Earth’s wrath
As the oceans swallow us whole
The end

“There are skeletons in this earth.”

–Corinne Duyvis

Thank you for visiting! I hope you enjoyed my double Cinquain!

Well, I’m off to work on my WIP. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Ohh, I have chills, Vashti. It’s terrifying to think humanity would allow such a thing a happen. Excellent, and chilling prose. Wow!! ❤

It’s scary but we seem to be headed in that direction. Hopefully, the new generation will do something about Earth abuse. Thank you! Happy Friday and weekend! ❤ xo

Yes, sad but true. It’s like someone said (I can’t remember who), ‘Humans are like viruses and viruses eventually kill their hosts.’ 😦
Hopefully, the next generations will take this issue seriously and actually do something about it before it’s too late. Thanks for stopping by and for your comment, K! 😀

Hi, Denise! Oh, believe me, no one wants this to happen but at the same time, very few people are doing anything to stop it from happening. :/
Yay! I’m happy you enjoyed the cinquain. Thank you! Happy Sunday!
