Hello, everyone! I hope you’ve all had a wonderful start to your day!

Poet’s Choice! It’s the first of the month and that means we choose our own syllabic poetry form, theme, words, images, etc. It’s up to us!

Even the lone writer who has wandered this far into summer with her books, notepads, laptop case knocking her knees—even she wishes to enjoy the warmth of the sun caress her skin, feel the fresh seasonal showers wash away concerns, hear the songs in the breeze on sultry summer evenings.

    So wonderful to see you and your post today. I have been finishing Book II “MYSTIC RIDER” and could be out on Amazon in a couple weeks. I have found my new way and it is writing (mostly for myself) and it just keeps unfolding. I am working on Book III already. I never forget how supportive you were with me in the beginning. You have a place in my heart… Thank you for being you.

      That’s right, Olga! I got a late start on summer because I didn’t want to leave a project I was working on, but I’m enjoying the sun now.

        We’ll go to Santa Barbara for a week. Then, go see my granddaughters for another week. We’re having some home improvement projects also. It’ll be a good summer. Take care, Vashti.😍

    Silvya, oh, she’s like a dear friend for me. I was alone in my university weekends and I always read her diaries and letters and poetry. So she was a good friend for me. 😆
