The Shadorma is a poetic form consisting of a six-line stanza. It is said to have originated in Spain. Each line has a syllable count as follows 3/5/3/3/7/5. A poem may consist of one stanza or an unlimited number of stanzas. I love the rhythm and flow of this form and it's a great writing exercise.

I’m happy you enjoyed the pictures, Mukhamani! If there’s something we have a lot of here in south Florida (USA) is water. Florida is a peninsula, so three sides of our landmass is surrounded by water and inland we have plenty of lakes. That’s one of the things I love about living her. Thanks for stopping by. 😀 xx
