Breathe America

Breathe in and breathe out
It’s time to except the new
––but never give up

Breathe in and breathe out
Don’t let the darkness take you
There’s no time for that

Stand tall and greet them

I try to be optimistic about everything in life, if not then you just fall into a deep dark hole. Thank you! Happy weekend to you too! 🙂 xx

Very empowering haiku series. Now the election is done we need to nourish these kinds of thoughts. I have certainly been seeking this kind of nourishment. Love the cartoons that you found!

Ha, ha! I thought the cartoons were hysterical. We just have to move on and hope for the best. Certain things are out of our control. All we can do is hang on to our ideals and stand up for what we believe in. Thank you! 🙂 xx

That is so true…we have to hang on and stay standing 🙂

I’m yearning to breathe free. Free of the bitterness that is clutching my heart. Perhaps it will turn out better than I expect, but I am not counting on it.

I can completely relate to how you are feeling. I’m a little heartbroken as well. I wasn’t expecting a lot of what has surfaced in this election. Some have called me naive and some have said I’ve lived a sheltered life but many feel the same way I do. There are 1st, 2nd+ generation Americans fearing for their lives. No one should be afraid to live in their own country. 😦

We have no choice but to do the same. He is president-elect and as Americans we have to respect and accept that. Hopefully things will work out for the best.
