Haiku Friday – New & Time

17 Apr

I’m running a bit late today. Sorry, life got in the way. The prompt words from RonovanWrites Weekly Haiku Poetry Prompt Challenge this week are New and Time.

Let Me Go

Demons dance to make me mad

I need a new home

I hope things are OK (not sure how autobiographical is the haiku, if at all) but yes, indeed. I have been in places and situations I didn’t want to be in.

Hello Olga! I’m okay. Thank you for the concern. Being in that kind of situation is difficult to say the least. 🙂

Yes! I attended a wedding held at a church I’d rather not mention. After the “contract” as they called it, I attended the wedding party dinner and about midway through it, I had to leave. It was a mixture of Children of the Corn and The Lottery and somewhere during all this, my God was saying “Get Out”.

Oh wow! I’m sorry you were in that situation. It must have been scary. It sounds like a good idea for a horror story though.

Vashti, I love haikus. I think I may be a little OCD, though- I always have to count the syllables before I can relax and read one. 🙂 Thank you for sharing these with us at Treasure Box Tuesday! ♥
